HOME MODIFICATIONS

Jace Compton

Jace has over 20 years experience in the building industry and 15 years working in the home modifications sector.
In this time, Jace has worked with a range of clients to provide home modifications to suit individuals’ specific needs. He has a clear understanding of the BCA and relevant Australian Standards for disability access. Jace works with Occupational Therapists, trades and providers to find the most effective solution for his clients.

Jace is a registered provider with a number of Homecare packages supporting aged care clients living at home. He also offers services to NDIS participants, insurance agencies and private clients. Jace is driven by achieving optimal client outcomes and witnessing the positive impact home modifications can have on people’s lives.

Qualifications and memberships

  • Certificate III in General Construction

  • Certificate IV in Building and Construction

  • Member of Master Builders Association

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Merryn Compton

Merryn graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Newcastle in 2008. She has over 14 years experience in a broad range of clinical settings including rehabilitation, acute care, community and private practice. Merryn is committed to supporting adults with a range of disabilities and diagnoses to achieve their goals. She works collaboratively with clients, their families and healthcare providers to enhance individual’s independence and participation in meaningful activities. Merryn holds a special interest in provision of assistive technology and minor and complex home modifications.

Qualifications and memberships

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

  • AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist

  • CPPACC4020 - Provide access advice on building renovations

  • CPPACC5016A - Provide expert access advice on renovations to private dwellings

  • MoCA certified

  • FIM accredited

  • Member of OT Australia
